Safety:
- Wear eye, ear and dust protection when sanding wood, paint, varnish, filler or coated materials.
- Always read and follow the manufacturer’s operating and safety instructions before use.
- Use suitable dust extraction or the supplied chip collection bag to reduce sanding dust.
- Check that the sanding pad and abrasive are correctly fitted before switching on the machine.
- Do not use torn, damaged or incorrectly fitted abrasives.
- Keep the sanding pad flat on the workpiece to avoid uneven sanding marks.
- Use care when sanding into corners to avoid damaging the pad tip or workpiece.
- Allow the sanding pad to stop completely before putting the machine down.
- Disconnect the machine from the power supply before changing abrasives, cleaning or carrying out maintenance.
- Ensure the workpiece is stable and properly supported before sanding.
