Spray guns for paint, varnish and wood finishes, from compressor-fed gravity guns to self-contained electric and cordless paint spray systems. This range suits DIY painters doing fences, furniture and interior walls as well as workshops laying down lacquer on cabinetry. We stock GAV HVLP and gravity-feed guns for use with a compressor, Bosch DIY electric spray guns, and Einhell corded and 18V cordless paint spray systems.
Choosing a spray gun
- Do you own a compressor? GAV gravity-feed and HVLP guns need an air supply and give the finest control over finish. If you do not have one, a Bosch or Einhell electric spray system has its own turbine and plugs into the wall or runs off a battery.
- Nozzle size. The GAV Z1000 carries a 0.8mm nozzle for thin lacquers and touch-up work, while the Z3000 uses 1.4mm for primers and thicker paint.
- Cordless or corded. The Einhell TC-SY 18/60 and TE-SY 18/90 run on Power X-Change 18V batteries, so you can spray a fence or gate without trailing a lead. The TC-SY 600 S and Bosch PFS 3000-2 are mains powered.
Electric paint spray gun or HVLP spray gun?
An electric paint spray gun is the simplest route for home jobs: fill the cup, plug in and go. An HVLP gun on a compressor atomises the paint more finely and wastes less in overspray, which is why furniture and automotive refinishers prefer it. If you are going the compressor route, see our compressors range. Einhell cordless users can add batteries from the Einhell batteries collection, and the Bosch PFS 3000-2 is the mains-powered option most DIY customers settle on.
