Lawn mowers at Power Tool Services in Cape Town cover cordless, electric, push and robot models from Einhell, sized for townhouse lawns up to larger suburban gardens. This collection is for homeowners who want a mower that starts every time, needs no petrol or small-engine servicing, and shares batteries with other garden and workshop tools.
Choosing a lawn mower
- Power source. The Einhell Electric Lawn Mower GC-EM 1032 runs off a cable and suits small lawns near a plug. Cordless models such as the Einhell Cordless Lawn Mower GE-CM 18/33 Li-Solo free you from the cable and run on Einhell's shared battery system.
- Lawn size. For a small to medium lawn, the GE-CM 18/33 Li-Solo is enough. For a larger garden, the Einhell Cordless Lawn Mower GE-CM 36/37 Li-Solo and the Einhell Professional Cordless Lawn Mower GP-CM 36/41 Li - Solo are the bigger models.
- Solo means no battery. Any model marked Solo ships without battery and charger.
- Cylinder, push or robot. The Einhell Cordless Cylinder Lawn Mower GE-HM 18/38 Li-Solo gives a fine, striped finish. The Einhell Hand Lawn Mower GC-HM 400 is the quiet push version for small lawns. The Einhell Robot Lawn Mower FREELEXO 1200 LCD BT cuts on a schedule and returns to its dock.
Electric vs cordless lawn mower
A corded electric mower is light, simple and never runs out of charge, but the cable limits you to the length of the lead. A cordless mower goes anywhere, and the battery can move to a blower, hedge trimmer or drill. The trade-off is runtime: match the battery capacity to your lawn, and keep a second battery charging for bigger gardens.
