A glue applicator puts the right amount of adhesive exactly where it is needed, which means stronger joints, less squeeze-out and far less scraping once the glue has cured. This collection covers the Titebond TiteBrush silicone wood glue brush, the O3a micro-tip applicator pack for cyanoacrylate, and a silicone glue stick tool with dowel and biscuit tips for furniture makers and joiners.
Choosing a glue applicator
- Silicone brush for edges and panels. The Titebond TiteBrush spreads PVA wood glue evenly along a board edge or across a panel. Cured glue peels straight off the silicone bristles, so one brush lasts for years instead of hardening after one glue-up.
- Dowel and biscuit tips. The silicone glue stick tool has a flat paddle on one end and shaped tips that coat the inside of a dowel hole or biscuit slot, where a brush cannot reach.
- Micro tips for instant glue. The O3a micro-tip applicator pack fits O3a cyanoacrylate bottles and puts a pinhead drop into a crack, a chip or a mitre without flooding the surface.
- Clean-up. Silicone tools rinse under the tap while the glue is wet, or flex clean once it has set.
Wood glue brush and the glue that goes with it
The applicator is only half the system. Pick the wood glue for the job first: an interior PVA for furniture, a D3 or D4 adhesive for kitchens and outdoor work, or an instant cyanoacrylate for repairs. Titebond wood glues are stocked in all three grades in the Titebond range. Have your clamps set and open before you reach for the TiteBrush, because the glue will not wait.
