Choosing delta sanding sheets
- Size and hole pattern: Bosch, Klingspor and Festool V93/6 sheets fit 93mm delta pads with 6-hole extraction. Makita's 94mm paper suits Makita detail sanders. Measure your pad before ordering if you are unsure.
- Grit: select 40 to 80 for stripping old paint, 120 to 180 for smoothing, 240 and finer before oiling or varnishing. Most products here let you pick the grit on the product page.
- Pack size: 5 packs for small jobs; Klingspor and Festool boxes of 50 work out cheaper for trade use.
- Abrasive: Bosch Expert for Wood and Festool Granat are made to resist clogging on paint and lacquer. Klingspor delta paper is the economical general-purpose option.
Mouse sander pads vs delta sheets
"Mouse" is a brand term for the same thing: a triangular hook-and-loop sanding pad. If your sander takes a 93mm triangle with the tip at the front, these sheets will fit regardless of the name on the machine.
