Titebond wood glue is the standard adhesive in many furniture and cabinet shops, and Power Tool Services stocks the full line-up. This collection holds Titebond Original, II Premium and III Ultimate in a choice of sizes, plus specialist glues, the Instant Bond CA range, glue brushes and a pump for bulk bottles.
Choosing a Titebond glue
- Where the piece will live. Titebond Original Wood Glue is the indoor furniture glue with fast tack and easy sanding. Titebond II Premium Wood Glue is the step up for cabinetry that may see moisture. Titebond III Ultimate Wood Glue is the one for outdoor furniture and wet areas.
- Working time. For a complex glue-up, III gives you the most time to adjust. For small parts, Titebond Speed Set Wood Glue 237ml grabs quickly.
- Not bare wood. Titebond Melamine Glue bonds melamine, veneer and laminates to wood. Titebond Quick & Thick Multi Surface Glue fills gaps and holds vertical parts. Titebond All Purpose White Glue is the school and craft glue.
- Instant bonds. The Titebond Instant Bond Thin, Medium, Thick and Gel CA glues, with the Titebond Instant Bond Activator, suit repairs, turning and jigs.
Difference between Titebond glues
All three main glues are PVA-type wood glues that clean up with water. The difference is water resistance and working time. Original is for interior work only. II Premium is water resistant, so it copes with humidity and occasional wetting. III Ultimate is rated for exterior use and gives the longest assembly time. For bulk users, the Titebond III 5KG Bucket with the Titebond Wood Glue Pump keeps the bench tidy. The Titebond TiteBrush Wood Glue Brush spreads any of them evenly.
