Hikoki power tools are built for the trades, with a cordless range that runs on 18V packs and on MultiVolt batteries that switch between 18V and 36V in the same pack. This collection holds the Hikoki tools, batteries and chargers we stock..
Choosing within the Hikoki range
- 18V or MultiVolt. 18V tools such as the Hikoki 18v Cordless Angle Grinder G18DSL2 Basic and Hikoki 18V Cordless Impact Drill/Driver WH18DA cover everyday work. 36V tools like the Hikoki 36v Cordless Rotary Hammer SDS Plus DH3628DC Basic and Hikoki 36v Impact Wrench 1/2" WR36DB Basic give corded-level power.
- Batteries. The Hikoki MultiVolt Li-ion battery 2.5Ah/5.0Ah BSL36A18X runs both 18V and 36V tools. The Hikoki 18V Battery 4.0Ah Li-ion BSL1840M is the 18V-only pack. The Hikoki Fast charger UC36YSL2 charges all of them.
- Basic or kit. Basic means body only. Buy one charger and a pair of batteries, then add Basic tools such as the Hikoki 18v Cordless Blower RB18DC Basic or Hikoki 18v Cordless Random Orbital Sander SV1813DA Basic.
- Corded tools. The Hikoki Heat Gun RH600T and Hikoki Die Grinder 520w GP2S2 are mains tools that need no battery.
Hikoki and Hitachi power tools
Hikoki is the name Hitachi power tools now trade under, so the search for Hitachi power tools in South Africa ends here. The tools and batteries continued under the new name. If you own older Hitachi 18V slide-pack tools, ask us about compatibility before buying batteries. The current range is wide: the Hikoki 36v Cordless Jig Saw CJ36DA Basic, Hikoki Cordless Circular Saw C3606DPA Basic and Hikoki 18v Cordless Framing Nail Gun NR1890DBCL Basic all run on the same MultiVolt packs.
