Festool cordless drill and screwdriver kits built for cabinetmakers, installers and shopfitters who need a compact, precise driver that lasts. This range covers the 12V CXS 12 and TXS 12, the 18V CXS 18 and TXS 18, the C 18 and T 18+3 drill drivers, the Quadrive TPC 18/4 percussion drill and the TID 18 impact driver, in Basic, Plus and Set configurations.
Choosing a Festool cordless drill
- CXS and TXS: the lightest drivers in the range. CXS has a pistol grip, TXS a T-handle. Both come in 12V and 18V and include the Centrotec chuck and an angle attachment in Set versions, which is what makes them ideal for hinge screws and fitting hardware in tight cabinets.
- C 18 and T 18+3: the full-size 18V drill drivers with brushless motors and electronic torque control for furniture and general joinery. Sold as Basic (bare tool in a Systainer) or with batteries.
- TPC 18/4 Quadrive: four-speed percussion drill for masonry as well as timber and steel.
- TID 18: the impact driver for long screws and decking.
Festool CXS vs a standard cordless drill
A standard 18V drill is longer, heavier and over-torqued for most cabinet screws. The CXS 18 sits in one hand, drives into corners with the angle head and swaps bits in seconds with Centrotec. If you fit kitchens or build furniture, it replaces the big drill for most of the day. Basic versions suit those already on Festool 18V batteries.
