Circular saw blades for wood, aluminium, steel, laminate, fibre cement and multi-material cutting, in diameters from 160mm plunge saw blades to 305mm mitre saw blades and beyond. This is the full range: Bosch, Freud, Festool and Makita TCT blades, Tool-Co and Tork Craft for everyday site work, SawStop blades, a Pro-Tech dado set, and CMT, Axminster and MicroJig blade accessories.
Choosing circular saw blades
- Material. Wood blades have alternate top bevel teeth. Aluminium and laminate blades use a triple-chip grind with a negative hook so they do not grab. Steel and multi-material blades use tougher carbide to survive nails and metal.
- Diameter and bore. Stocked in 160, 165, 184, 190, 210, 216, 230, 235, 250, 254 and 305mm, with 20mm and 30mm bores the most common. Check the plate on your saw before ordering.
- Tooth count. Fewer teeth for ripping and rough cutting, more teeth for clean crosscuts and board materials. 24, 40, 48, 60, 80 and 96 tooth blades are all stocked.
- Kerf. Thin-kerf blades such as the Makita Efficut 165mm suit cordless saws by reducing the load on the battery.
TCT saw blades, table saw blades and the sub-collections
TCT (tungsten carbide tipped) blades stay sharp far longer than plain steel and can be resharpened. For a narrower search use circular saw blades for wood, circular saw blades for aluminium or multi-material blades. Full-size 250mm and 254mm blades for cabinet saws sit alongside the table saws they fit, and industrial Freud blades are collected under Freud tools.
