Listen carefully

Nothing compares to these. I dipped my toes into diamond stones and enjoyed my older whetstones, but these are just something else.

Besides not having to deal with water and a messy metallic slurry over my bench, they cut really quickly and leave a super consistent polish.

Shapton Rules!

I am extreremly pleased to see that Power Tool Services is now stocking Shapton ceramic whetstones. These are in my opinion, the best I have ever used. Some of my Shaptons are well over ten years old and still performing flawlessly. Just as one goes through the grits when sanding, the same basic principle applies to sharpening and honing. I strongly recommend these whetstones over the others available on the SA market!
