Microjig Pushblock System Grr-Ripper 3D Advance GR-200

The Grr-Ripper is an indispensable safety device for the table saw. It is the only commercially available pushblock that applies force in three directions (down onto the table, against the fence when ripping and forwards while feeding). Its channel design also allows you to support both the workpiece and the offcut throughout the cut. All of these features greatly reduce the probability of kickback. The bottom surface of the Grr-Ripper is covered with a very grippy material that even manages to grip slippery materials such as HDPE and Melamine. All the parts are replacement should you accidentally get it in the path of the blade. The GR-200 includes an additional spacer and stabilizer plate - very useful for narrow stock to ensure that the push block remains balanced. Some would consider this to be an expensive product, but it is a lot cheaper than a trip to the ER and is extremely well made so absolutely worth it for me. I use it in conjunction with a second Grr-Ripper (GR-100) to alternate hands when feeding through long pieces without ever letting go of the piece - important when dealing with thin/light stock that could get on top of the blade and kick back. They also work extremely well on the router table with small pieces.
