Food for thought

This review is not really about the tool, it's more about the practicalities of a battery powered glue gun.

So let's talk pros
I love/hate my corded glue gun (other brand) it works amazingly well, but I think it gets too hot, it seems to burn the glue a bit, it makes terrible fumes, and even using it outside on my patio isn't really good enough. I try to actually use it while holding my breath (crazy, I know) or I get a long extension cable and use it in the middle of the lawn where the fumes blow away easily.

I don't know if this glue gun actually makes a stink or not, I'll get to that...
But being cordless, you can easily take it outside anywhere, no need to hassle with extension cables. And also when glueing cables or whatever up high, it's so much nicer having a cordless tool than trying to hold the weight of a long extension cable and electrical plugs etc.

Cons
The reason I haven't actually used this glue gun yet, is because it's battery powered and has a 5 minute auto-power off feature. Just generally because my life is quite intense, I often switch on the glue gun outside, go inside while I wait for it to warm up, then I might get sucked into doing stuff for the kids or work etc, and then 10-45 mins might pass. If it's the cordless glue gun, by the time I get back to it, it's cold.

With the corded glue gun, it's still burning away making a stink. I don't stress about leaving a corded glue gun on for an hour or whatever because it uses less than a 60W lightbulb.
