Best tablesaw for diy , was a big decision for me to choose between Bosch and De Walt , at the end De Walt win for me, because the rack and pinion is the most accurate .

Exactly as expected

I don't understand the "glowing" 4-star reviews.
The saw delivers exactly what it's priced, and advertised, as: a perfect and durable jobsite / portable saw.
Comparing to a cast iron cabinet saw is simply unfair, and deserves the 5-stars for delivering on its specs as a jobsite saw.

Fence came perfectly / 99% vertically square from the factory.

Only upgraded it "needs", is the 40-tooth FR23W002T blade.

Ordered @ 14:00
Delivered @ 08:05 the next day, stupid fast via courierguy.

Best bang for your buck

Coming from a small DIY home workshop saw, this is an amazing upgrade. Awesome fence, nice solid table top, easy to change blade, adjustable insert, the list goes on. Nice feature is the slide out fence that can take up to 80cm wide cuts. Not full points purely for the lack of soft start as others have said and the loose miter gauge that has to be taped up to fill the miter slots. Unbeatable in this price range and you would have to spend at least double the price on a contractor saw or triple for a starter cabinet saw to get better. Loving it!

Best in this category, although not perfect.

If the rating was relative to peers in the same category it should be a 5 - it is the best jobsite saw available in SA. It is extremely well built: cast aluminium top, rack and pinion fence with adjustment on the front and the back with a a very solid lock mechanism, and the fence, blade and mitre slots were all perfectly aligned out of the factory on my saw. The arbor is long enough to support a dado stack if required. Riving knife is extremely simple to remove (and swop out with the blade guard) - no tools required and takes less than 2 seconds. No excuse now to not use the most important safety device for a table saw! I've also not had any power issues - easily cutting through 50mm Oak and Beech. Things that could have been improved: soft start - given the price point I would have expected soft start to reduce the mechanical shock when the motor starts up. I've not had issues that the inrush current tripped my breaker, but I can imagine that it could be a problem for some. Dust collection - even with the blade guard in place could be better.
