Bosch Professional Wet / Dry Extractor GAS 15 PS 06019E5100

This is an excellent shop vacuum that comes at a good price point, so good that it may even be worth purchasing as a wet/dry vacuum for the house (albeit a bit loud compared to pet friendly vacuum cleaners).

The container is a little on the small side (unlike the model number implies, it only has a 10 litre capacity) so it tends to fill up a little fast, but the same can be said for any other vacuum in this bracket and smart money is on adding a dust collection bin between your tools and the shop vac.

The hose is nice and long so you can easily use it for attaching to your circular saw and rip full sheets of ply without worrying about reach. The unit has a switched outlet which turns the vac on when you start your tool (handy) and the hose is longer than the cord on my circular saw, so mobility is definitely not an issue.

The rubber attachment (for attaching to your powertools) is about its only weakness - it fits tightly inside the dust extraction port on tools with the correct size exhausts (although it's easy enough to make an adapter out of 40mm PVC waste pipe for tools of a different brand for this purpose), but doesn't last long when used on my GEX-125 sander, where the rubber coupling fits over the tool's small exhaust.

Overall very impressed with the Bosch shop vac.

Totally satisfied with this saw. Contrary to some online reviews of this saw that mention misaligned blade, fence etc; this saw was perfectly setup out of the box. It was super easy to setup and start cutting. Have been using it for a couple of weeks and am very satisfied with the machine.

The service from Bruce is excellent. He called me to say that the benchdogs I also ordered are packed inside the box and not to worry about it not being shipped.

Absolute bonus is that the order was fulfilled on the same day. Yes, they are based in Cape Town and so am I, but still - that is excellent service.

Living in Johannesburg, I knew that my purchase will take the maximum time to arrive, and the best I was hoping for was that my order arrived in one piece and was not mistaken in any way.

The product is great. What you'd expect from Bosch Professional. It looks great. Sturdy, not flimsy in any way. Fits my cyclone perfectly. Does all I need from a dust extraction point.
Better yet is the price and service i got from power tool services, after much online searching. A customer for life!!
