Einhell Cordless Blower 18V TE-CB 18/180 Li-Solo

This is my first blower. I always thought they were a bit of a novelty item. Until I recently used my uncle's corded blower to clean the bed of a bakkie that was filled with sand.

Then when I had been checking out blowers for a while, and noticed this one was priced very well, not much more than the really cheap corded blowers. I really had to talk myself into buying it because I didn't have a strong reason or justification for buying it. I kind of just bought it because I just wanted it. And I didn't even know why. I thought it might be kind of like my rotary tool. I didn't know I needed a rotary cutting tool until i got one, and since then I use it all the time, and it's indispensable.

So I bought this, telling myself that I'd clean my computers with it and maybe pump mattresses etc when we go camping.

I haven't used it to pump anything up yet, but firstly, it's SO MUCH faster for cleaning computers than painstakingly fully taking them apart and using a vacuum-cleaner and paintbrush. Now I just let the computer idle for 10 minutes, switch it off only the outer cover, blow it, bring it back and plug it in, and I'm done.

But the real value of it has been cleaning the patio, cleaning sand on the brick paving.. for outdoor cleaning it's incredibly fast, and incredibly convenient being battery powered, just pick it up and blast the dirt away. I've been amazed how effective it is, since I'm new to blowers I didn't know what to expect. It lasts plenty long on a 2.5Ah battery.
