This is our first portable vac but we're super impressed. It's incredibly lightweight with a 2.5Ah battery and works well. Still very comfortable with a 4Ah battery.
It's shockingly powerful for a battery operated device. And super impressive that it comes with all of the different attachments and even a hook thingy for the cupboard.
It's definitely the way to go having a battery that's not only replaceable, but quickly swappable. It's really, really impressive. We've used it a lot. It gets used almost daily around the house, in the car, and for cleaning up DIY stuff. I even vaccumed up an entire ants nest with it, no stress. It's amazing how dust doesn't spew out of it, yet the airflow is quite free-flowing and it's battery operated. Must be some alien tech.
But anyway, my wife loves it so much she said "Let's get rid of our vacuum cleaner!" And even our domestic cleaner who never used the vacuum cleaner, loves this now. It definitely saves a few grey hairs with kids in the house and car (all their crumbs etc) It's so nice how it's easy to always have a clean car and floor now.
One thing that's really cool that you can't do with a corded vac, when you're in a rush is just walk from one end of the house to the other, 80/20 just vacuuming up the obvious dirt.
I'm going to still keep our monster 1800W vacuum cleaner for doing stuff like vacuuming masonry drilling dust. I don't want to wreck this thing. We've just used it on normal dirt thus far.
