Entry level, but buy this before you buy cheap

There's not really much to say about an entry level jigsaw - you get what you pay for. Except when you buy this unit at this price point, you get Bosch Professional backing, which should count for a lot. I have had slightly more expensive units from Ryobi that literally fell apart - this little work horse keeps going strong.

I struggle to get mine to cut perfectly square, but I suppose that is due to the fact that this is an entry level machine and the saw blade housing assembly is reflective of the price point - it's basic.

Buy this if you're just starting out an need a jigsaw (don't buy that other brand); it's cheap enough to not feel like you wasted money when you eventually upgrade to a jigsaw with more power and a pendulum action - this will get the job done.
