Description
The Ryder No.6 is used for quick stock removal similar to a Jack or for truing up edges, or leveling wide boards. Originally the No.6 was used for timber preparation before any other plane. The main casting is ductile iron chosen for its high strength and impact resistance. It has an adjustable frog, depth and lateral blade control and Indian hardwood handles.
